This is a great place to build a career and grow with a company that is dedicated to quality and service.&nbsp;<h4>In this position, the candidate will:</h4><ul><li>Serve as a project engineer and project manager with responsibility for various local agency, INDOT, and/or KYTC roadway/highway design projects.</li><li>Build and lead cross-functional project teams assigning tasks to team members that may include engineers, technicians and administrative staff.</li><li>Provide support to project teams related to problem solving and overcoming obstacles to ensure successful and timely project completion within budgetary constraints.</li><li>Travel to project sites to meet with clients, construction teams and/or other stakeholders (<i>Typically does not require overnight travel)</i></li><li>Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of project assignments.</li><li>Keep clients, management, and other stakeholders informed regarding project status.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with clients providing the highest level of service, communication, and responsiveness to meet client needs.</li><li>Serve as a technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, QA/QC, and methods.</li><li>Evaluate and adapt standard techniques and criteria to perform tasks for conventional projects.</li><li>Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.&nbsp; </li><li>Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the engineering work.</li><li>Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.</li><li>Assist with proposals or funding applications.</li><li>Perform other duties associated with the position.</li></ul><h4>Qualifications for this role:</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering </li><li>Registered Professional Engineer&nbsp; </li><li>8+ years of relevant experience working on DOT and/or local agency roadway design projects</li><li>Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to work individually or as part of a team</li></ul><h4>What we offer:</h4><ul><li>Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – Become an employee-owner!</li><li>Rich coverage for major medical insurance</li><li>401(k) plan with company match</li><li>Basic life insurance (with option for additional voluntary life insurance)</li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term disability insurance</li><li>Generous vacation and sick leave</li><li>Student loan repayment benefit</li></ul><i>Lochmueller Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
