Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Facility Support Specialist/Maintenance Coordinator to work in our Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) Operations Facility Support department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our ATR facility with every Friday off. You will monitor operations, facility operations, and related oversight of planning, maintenance, modifications, and space allocations for facilities with nuclear capabilities. You will verify that activities conducted in facilities comply with regulatory requirements, ensure training requirements are met, advise on all aspects of safety, quality and efficiency associated with conduct of operations, and coordinate facility upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.You will report directly to the manager of the ATR Operations Facility Support department. Drive continuous improvement in processes, procedures, tools, and equipment.</li><li>SupportcomplianceprogramssuchasISMS,ContractorAssuranceProgram,QualityAssurance Program, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance.</li><li>Guideandmentormorejuniorstaffmembers.</li><li>Escortandoverseesubcontractorsasrequired.</li><li>Act as Operations Maintenance Coordinator per ATR Operations Standing Directives (SD)-11.1.25.</li><li>Otherdutiesasassigned.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, or 11 years of Nuclear Operations experience in lieu of degree.&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited institution and 9 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or 15 years of Nuclear Operations experience in lieu of degree. </li><li>Relevant Nuc Ops experience includes the following: Conduct of Operations, monitoring plant and reactor, manipulating controls, performing reactivity changes, configuration and plant equipment, experiment handling evolutions, start and shutdown, control panels, balance of plant, monitoring plant conditions, timely orders.</li><li>Must hold an ATR Senior Reactor Operator (SRO)/Plant Foreman (PF) certification or previously held an ATR SRO/PF certification or obtain an SRO certification.</li><li>Must be able to obtain an SRO certification within 2 years of employment for this position.</li><li>Experience commensurate with level which includes professional experience in an operations capacity or in other technical areas.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" HRP clearance, which requires US Citizenship.</li></ul> Preferred Requirements: <ul><li>Advanceddegreeintechnicalfield(i.e.,NuclearEngineering,ElectricalEngineering,ChemicalEngineering).</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($77,628 - $159,228) / Level 4 ($93,204 - $191,076).
