Full-time Visiting Instructor of Chemistry one-year

&nbsp;Description: Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach to ensure the program’s success as directly related to the skill development and performance of the student-athletes, as well as the recruitment, retention, and conduct of the student-athletes. They will assist in the development, promotion and supervision of all facets of the university’s women’s Basketball program. Part-Time -  Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

&nbsp;JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;The Graduate Assistant (GA) is primarily responsible for supporting faculty with laboratory equipment and providing practice time for current students. This includes daily OT laboratory space and equipment cleaning, routine laundry completion, and inventory management. The GA must also support the faculty with classroom and office-level needs. In addition, the GA provides support to the AFWC in communicating assignments to students and onsite supervisors for Level I and Level II fieldwork.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Create and implement the ‘open lab’ concept where OT students can practice lab techniques outside class. Practice activities include but are not limited to; functional mobility training, application of modalities, and use of adaptive equipment. Guidance as to content is to be provided by the course instructors.2. Assist with set-up and tear of classroom or lab activities for OT courses. Gather materials or provide access to instructional supplies for adjunct instructors.3. Supervise student learning of performance-based tasks during lab sessions for OT courses. Provide teaching support in areas of expertise based on professional experiences (i.e., ergonomics assessments).4. Assist the AFWC in communicating assignments to students and on-site supervisors for Level I and II fieldwork.5. Summary of Duties:The incumbent in this position works under the supervision of the Instructional Technology FacultySupport Manager by assisting with the following:• Responsible for assisting in developing, producing, and distributing audio/video/graphic content for faculty and students• Responsible for overseeing Media Suite technologies including inventory management, reservations, troubleshooting and maintenance• Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling of four (4) Media Center Student Workers• Assist with daily office responsibilities including database maintenance, filing, copying, phones, guest and vendor reception, etc.• Perform other duties as assignedMajor Duties/ Responsibilities:• Facilitate daily office responsibilities including managing Student Workers, managing the inventory of equipment, checking in and out various devices, database maintenance, poster printing, filing, copying, phones, guest &amp; vendor reception, etc.• Manage the University Print Shop which is run out of the Media Center including Coordination and prioritization or print jobs to ensure efficient production schedules and timely delivery of printed materials, and management of print shop invoicing system.• Assist with recording on site and remote events.• Assist with the development of multimedia video lectures and podcasts.• Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:• Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in an Alvernia graduate program• Familiarity with current software used for digital media creation• Excellent communication and project management skills• Ability to think creatively and innovatively• Ability to prioritize work, manage time, and multitask appropriately• Ability to function autonomously and as a member of a team• Ability to delegate tasks among team and prioritize assignments appropriately to maximize productivity and meet deadlines• Proven PC and Mac skills• Lift up to 50 lbs.• Flexible schedule to allow for frequent evening work
