Our Operations Analyst will work with our Natural Gas Team and will enter all retail natural gas deals, will coordinate utility related communications and work with various groups to maintain systems balance. In this role, you will learn and understand system flow and impact on other intercompany departments. Our employees must meet established compliance controls, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with other teams to resolve issues. We are looking for someone who can foster an effective work environment, problem solve and embrace company goals.
- Execute customer contracts in CAMS (Customer Account Management System) once contract packages have been verified by ensuring the product, price plan and all documents were filled out correctly along with proper signatures are obtained in good order
- Validate data entered in CAMS during enrollment process
- Assist with the countersigning, organization and storing of customer contracts and other documentation
- Handle Account Maintenance matters as needed, including enrolling and dropping accounts and updating customer information
- Research and resolve enrollment issues utilizing analytical and reporting tools as well as collaborating with cross functional peers
- Perform a variety of analytical functions including the review and management of large data sets to ensure successful onboarding process and compliance with internal controls
- Create KPI reports to track team performance for various functions
- Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
- Lead and assist with continuous process improvement projects related to enrollment controls, quality & efficiency, and automation opportunities
- Research regulatory and utility changes and analyze impact on current processes
- Assist other departments as needed to provide the best customer experience
This opportunity will be remote with occasional travel to Portsmouth, NH or Syracuse, NY.

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-4 years Natural Gas experience
- Analytical skills
- Advanced computer literacy – Excel knowledge is required
- Must be detail oriented and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate/relate to fellow employees
- Ability to operate basic office equipment
